TRK Oktoberfest Ride to The Gasthaus Bavarian Hunter

Sun, Sep 24, 10:45am - 5:00pm

Most of this ride is on bike trails. This is a casual "no-drop" ride. There will be several "pause" points to regather if needed.
We're hitting Oktoberfest at "The Gasthaus Bavarian Hunter" just off Brown's Creek Trail. $3 cover to get into the festival.
See TRK Facebook post for this ride. It has pictures of the start area and the turns on the route...
The route is simple mostly on the Gateway and Brown's Creek trails. We hit Oktoberfest at the Gasthaus Bavarian Hunter just west of Stillwater and a mere 100 feet off the new Brown's Creek Bike Trail... Arrive at the ride start location at 10:45am so we can leave by 11am. First we ride out the Gateway Trail from North Saint Paul to Pine Point Park. Then we head south on the County 55 (Norell Ave) bike trail to Minnesota 96 and go east on the paved shoulder to 95. 95 south to Stillwater. We then head north on Browns Creek trail (very scenic). Just after going over the new Manning Ave (county 15) bike bridge turn left on Lofton Ave to the Gasthaus. A $3 cover, lots of great German food and beer on the Oktoberfest grounds. Leave when you want and continue west on Brown's Creek Trail to the Gateway trail and south back to North Saint Paul. It's only 10 miles back to the ride start. If you are running late call me. My number is on the TRK contact list.
The ride is about 35 miles
